Witt's Jewelry, owned by Maria and Tom Wittler, hosted Chamber Coffee and a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Friday, January 31st to celebrate their grand opening at 100 S. Pearl Street in Wayne. Community members, Wayne America ambassadors, and local business owners were in attendance to network, enjoy baked treats, and welcome the Wittlers to Wayne's business district.

Maria attended Wayne State College and has wanted to own a jewelry store since then, telling Chamber Coffee guests, "when I came to college here, I walked in the door of the Diamond Center and never left". Between helping her husband farm, substitute teaching, and raising their son Ty, she remained in the jewelry industry on a part-time basis over the last decade, so she is excited to finally bring back a brick-and-mortar store to the community.
