WAYNE, January 5, 2024 - The City of Wayne, Wayne County, Wayne Community Housing Development Corporation (WCHDC), and Wayne Area Economic Development, Inc. (WAED) are excited to announce their groundbreaking partnership and the formation of Wayne America, Inc.

The collaborative effort marks a significant milestone in fostering economic development, supporting chamber members, improving housing, and attracting visitors throughout the City of Wayne and Wayne County. By pooling resources, expertise, and a shared vision, Wayne America, Inc. will provide progressive and unified resources to enhance the area.

Wayne America, Inc. is an umbrella organization for local economic development, chamber of commerce members, housing development, and tourism that will serve both the City of Wayne and Wayne County. Day-to-day operations at Wayne America, Inc. will be overseen by employees from the City of Wayne’s new Department of Economic Development.
