The recital is free and open to the public.\n\nKolbeck is a professor of music (specializing in woodwinds) at Wayne State\, and Armstrong is Wayne State’s collaborative pianist.\n\nRepertoire for the recital will feature “Chant Slave” by Joseph Edouard Barat\, “Viktor’s Tale” from the movie “The Terminal” by John Williams\, “Lullabye for Kara” by Rick Sowash\, and “Deepwood” by David Bennett. Niels Wilhelm Gade’s “Fantasy Pieces\,” op. 43 are also featured during the recital.
